Results of Test Tri 5

A big well done to the days only personal best competitor today, it was not easy and yet you did it in some style. Dave Murphy found his feet in his second ever test tri and knocked knocking 6 minutes off his time of 7 weeks ago.

Well done also to Willie and Shane who secured their status at the top of the field, and to Trish who has left herself with a slim chance of challenging Ironwoman Sinead.

Great to see Maeve Bracken and Anthony McDonald back, next time out it is all about them ranking points.

Many thanks as always to the marshals and their perfect timing. Wesley also has some photos of the day which will be up here in a few days time, and Jonathan (first place today in the juniors), has promised a race report.

Meanwhile, enjoy reading the results.

Test Duathlon 4 Results

Well done to all involved last night at Duathlon 3, a small field took on the 'Summery' conditions and produced some great results.

At the head of the field Shane Delaney came within 20 seconds of his course record, staying ahead of Stephen O'Toole in personal best form last night.

Speaking of Course Records and O'Tooles, Siobhan made a mighty impressive debut to Test Duathlon with a first time finish of 37:47, almost 4 minutes faster than the previous junior lady time. Well done Siobhan!

Liam Byrne also notched up a new PB and steps into 2nd place on season rankings, nudging down Fitzptarick, Doyle and Keane, who weren't taking part this outing. Susan Wall recorded a PB in the ladies, with Siobhan O'Toole making her Junior Debut in a brilliant time of 37:47, a course record for the Lady Juniors (taking almost 4 minutes off Laura Ridgeways time in 2009).

Results are now available online. Click to Download.

Finally, watch this space for the rescheduled dates of Duathlons 4,5,6 over the rest of the season.
