Return the French Favour?
Remember the French invasion of Athy in 2007? They came, they raced, they took the glory. Well the return battle commences 7 July. Could we Go, Race and take theirs?
An opportunity has arisen for 2-3 members of Trilogy to represent their club, TriAthy and their country in a French triathlon that takes place 7 July. The Olympic distance race is being organised by Beauvais Triathlon, and we are invited via the association with Athy.
What’s involved?
- A cheap Ryanair flight (€150 or so, including your bike)- Race Entry fees (€50 or s0)- Accomodation (may be facilitated via the twin-town initiative).
If you are going to race this, then remember that you will miss Dunmore-East … so you sacrifice precious PL ranking points. And you are going to have to act fast.
If you do decide to race, then Trilogy will be there to assist with some of the race expenses (details to be agreed).
