Test Tri Returns

Trilogy’s Test Tri series returns for its fourth year. This year, there are a few small changes that you need to be aware of, especially if you have been used to the old format.

1. Registration: Sign-on will open earlier at 7:45, and close earlier at 8:15. The earlier pool start (see below) explains why we cannot delay this.
2. Briefing and Numbering: Briefing will start at 8:25, as will body-marking and wave announcements.
3. Pool start: We need to be in the pool at 8:45
4. Multiple lanes. Between 8:45 and 9:00 we can use up to three lanes at once (pool closed to leisure centre members). This allows us to have more starts, smaller waves and shorter waiting around time. It should also provide more competition as there will be more people around you at any one time.
5. Text Tomorrow. In order to get an idea of who’s coming, and who’s helping, please answer the text to be sent to all members tomorrow about participation.
6. No TI Number, no take-part. Current Members are listed here.

All the other arrangements will be the same – i.e. same course, same transition zone, same rules, results will be available in the same place, etc. As per last year, we will divide swimmers on merit (i.e. no first ladies only wave).

If anyone needs to know the course, please get in touch with Karl, Roy, Sinead, or any experienced member of the club. Due to the tight deadlines in the pool, there will not be a drive-through available.
