Test Tri 1 Results

Well done to all of you who finished the Test Tri today. The event has never been as popular, and it still works so well as both a competitive series for those in their fourth year, and a great first try for people new to the sport.

Speaking of new people, there was a great turn out in all categories - Carol Fennell and Eleanor Doherty in the Ladies, Liam Byrne, Anthony McDonald, Robert Grant, Shane Beere and William Aylward in the mens, Siobhan O'Toole, Michael Dalton, William Fitzpatrick, Richard Nichollsa and Sean McCormack in the Juniors.

I think most of you will have seen what happens when help doesn't appear, and we did suffer today as a result. There are a few missing times, punctures on the road were left unattended, and overall we took some shortcuts on safety. We cannot let this be repeated, so over the next few days you will see on here a new way to ensure that this doesn't happen again, based on people sacrificing one event to help through the year.
